I propose a measurement of planet quality that you can use to determine if you are colonizing high quality planets, and if you are spending a lot of your space on defenses. How to calculate the Planet Quality Index (PQI)? (Artifact Points+Research points-# of scientists+Mining points)/Number of planets. So I have: 2293 RP/hr 701 M/hr 891 A/hr with 131 scientists and 44 planets. Total planetary production is 2293+701+891-131=3754. 3754/44=85.3. This should be increasing in the next 5 days as I move from tier 4 structures to tier 6 structures on my planets. What's your PQI? |

18 planets 353 mineral 895 artifact 650 research (-79 for scientists) = 101 PQI at rank 70 (and I love artifacts as you can see) |

Looks like my planets are terrible compared to everyone else, especially since i've got a Colossal Mega Rich Oceanic bumping up my stats... 26 Planets 223 Minerals (13.1%) 638 Artifacts (37.5%) 891 Research - 51 Scientists - 840 (49.4%) 223 + 638 + 840 = 1701 1701 / 26 = 65.42 65.42 PQI |

As Konqul Fixer (no resource bonus at all) 1,334 Minerals 3186 Artifacts 3,459 Research - 491 Scientists 51 planets _______________ 146.82 PQI (164.7 if I had gone 20% research+10% artifact) I do have LOT of defense/pop/cloak structures on most of my planets. And 44 of 51 planets are at least rare or greater.. I don't leave my planets very prone to invasion like many people did with their good planets.. I still have +8 structures and haven't gotten +10's yet. I almost have all planets maxed out with artifact resource structures thanks to high artifact production. It adds up nicely. |

Moving up to +6 structures got me to 100 PQI. Now I just need better planets

154.2 RP 90 AP 155.5 MP I have 38 scientists and 7 planets. Total production, then, is (154.2 + (90-38) + 155.5)/7 = 51.67. Certainly not stellar. But then at my level (44), I don't have the most high-tech equipment installed, either (just tier 2). However, the RP reflects the Vygoid +20%. Should there be some factor for level (or at least for planetary equipment), since at higher levels the same planet will produce more due to the more resplendent gadgetry? |

moved up to 110 by getting the +6 structures. You are right, Noc, full AP structures helps a lot. |
