After looking at the new updates you've posted teasers on planet abilities, i was wondering. Will these abilities be added at random to occupied and unoccupied planet, just unoccupied planets or planets generated after the update? |

Some will be random, like weather and such, wich was suggested before. But others will be controllable. |

see, the primary problem i see with this new update, is you have to visit your planet to update the status. so whats to stop a player from waiting till they get a 'sunny' day or whatever it will be to give a bonus to production, and then never visit that planet again, essentially locking in his bonus indefinitly. unless dan plans to finally change the way colonies grow and planets update, i see major potential for explotiment. |

Dan didn't say that there would be production changes based on weather he only said that there would be planetary events / discoveries and planet abilities Though, if he implements production based on daily weather, rest assured he would have a script run once a day to update all the planets, which would eliminate the need to bother manually refreshing recently colonized planets ourselves, though if we know the exact time of day we invaded/colonized we could still manually refresh to get a few extra points for the hours before the next daily refresh |

If you don't have 200+ planetary time vortexes in your cargo... I'll send you some. |
