I'm currently a Genetarr because I like the extra help against tough npcs.
I have the Zolazin chain completed and I could use the boost to my cloaking and the sabatour ability would come in handy.
I have yet to complete the Drannik chain. The extra attack would definately come in handy against npcs in the long run.
I'm torn... what should I pick?
I'm pretty much an all round player. I don't really have any specific area to focus on.

Mylari is out of the question because I get too much minerals as is.
Kronyn is also out of the question right now because I don't have the resources to complete the first mission.
The other unlockables are a long ways off.

It really depends on your long term goals. If you plan to do more hacking than NPCs, go with Zolazin. Generally speaking Genetarr and ZolSabs are legion-first choices. They aren't really all that helpful to the individual, but are handy to have around for the legion as a whole. If you're looking to farm NPCs for mods, terraformers, purifiers and such, Drannik is without a doubt the best option to go with. That said, if you are planning to have a better all-around combat ship, (NPC, Base, PvP), you might want to consider Kongul.

PS: I believe the trade market for flux probes has stabilized so it should be easy to obtain them for the Kronyn mission.

zolazin, because if you dont have lots of cloak it boosts it for you, which helps. saboteur is self explanotory.so if you finished it, go for zolazin.

Genetarr - Legion helping, NPC boost, not so much benefit to you.
Zolazin (sabotuer) - Helps EVERYONE by making planet invasions easier for everyone.
Drabbik - Single best SOLO NPC race in the game, useless for everything else.

Your choice.

In what way?
DG has 10 saboteurs - any planet with less than 10 attack/defence/population structures can be taken by almost anyone.
You can use the ability on any planet - it helps everyone.

That of course pre-supposes that your legion could get the planet population down first. Most planets i've seen/own with that many defense structures would require your legion to take out 1500+ population.

1 Bio vapouriser = 750
Maybe another one = 375
even at 2 pop. per hit, 140 attacks across the board, and it's down.

Anyway to answer the question:
Zolazin sab: helps you to hack, helps whole legion to get planets
Genetarr: Helps whole legion kill elites
Drannik: Helps you and you alone kill all NPCs

Conclusion: Solo NPC = drannik, Legion NPC (not needed eventually) = Genetarr, Whole legion planets = zolazin sab. Whichever you and your legion need most really.

None of those 3, Konqul.

I dunno, a rank 350 Genetarr would be amazing for those XRP Warp Stations.
The unbiased facts:
Genetarr: For for high attack NPCs, benefits both you and legion.
Zolazin Sab: Good for attacking planets and gives cloak bonus, benefits you and legion.
Drannik: Amazing for NPC hunting, no benefit to legion.

My opinion:
If you want to be a team player be Genetarr or Zolazin, otherwise pick Drannik. On the matter of Genetarr vs Zolazin, do you want to nerf NPC attacks or blow up planetary defenses?

I usually just buy unoccupied planets so nerfing NPCs I guess.
