Looking for advise from some high ranking people.... I have seen a few posts saying people would do thing differently if they were to restart, but the one that keeps comming up is that they would leave certian missions uncompleted so that npc's would keep spawning. I have looked but can't find out what missions those are. can someone please enlighten me.

Mainly the Zolazin NPCs spawned during that mission chain and a little later Rogue Data Analyzers during the Decrypting The Vault mission. Zolazin NPCs give a good xp/energy ratio and the Rogue DA's help reduce the spawnrate of Crimson Flamehawks for those above rank 350. When you first start seeing Flamehawks, they are a bit** to kill.

I used the Zolazin until I had good modules to buffer my xp, they actually aren't as good as runners/chargers, IF you can 2-3 shot those, but they have easier fixed stats. I still have on data analyzers for the RP drop, as it is quite nice.

So should I just finish the chron shift carrier mission? I thought that was another one that it was recommended to leave in the mix.

The main mission NPC to keep available is the Rouge Data Analyser. The miission isn't great anyway.

I think the Chron shifter artifact is a really useful one at lower ranks. I also saved the drops till I was short of energy to rank then used them on the mission. If I remember right it's a really high energy/XP mission. I use Silithon energy sacs for the same purpose now.

If you're keen on ranking fast then from what I've learned from people is you need to focus on energy and attack. Ship size is useful to fit in enough stuff (8 weapons then 6 hull then stuff like defence).
