| Post subject: | general stat guide while leveling |
After reading through the forums I have gathered from lots of different threads info for "rule of thumb" stats and wanted to see if what I got was accurate. Please feel free to add or correct if I am wrong. Thanks Attack: 10x your level Defense: 1/2 your attack Scan: min of 50 for rare spawns till level 100 (don't know after that) Cloak: (personal preference only used for hacking and hiding from others on the bt) And obviously more is always better for any stat

Either way... attack and def numbers doesn't looks right |

I was just talking about an all around ship that is good for leveling. I know that you can customize it, that is one of the great things about the game... but like the title says it is just a General Guide not specific for one aspect of the game. @ Mitchelln that is not constructive... if you have no input as to what is right..... |

never really read much on the forums myself just did alot of account resets and this is the gist that I have come up with for an all around average ship [ im only level 136 so this is a lowbie perspective mind you ]. attack / defense - see what a rare is at your level match and / or beat that and your ok. scan - around 50ish till level 50 then 70ish till level 100 then your looking at around 100-200 cloak - try to keep same as scan additional things that i notice, hull is better than shields, in that the space is less for the amount of HP. scan increases chance of critical hits in combat cloak reduces chance of critical hits in combat again lowbie perspective but its done my quite well so far |

Attack and hull to 100, then add in some def, about half your attack or more. Not really lowbie perspective, but still-bug-on-a-windscreen 192 |
