I need help!!!

I'm kinda stuck on what I should be doing next. Should I get Syncopates, Exergonics, Thetacron cannons, or Supernova's?

My production is pretty poor: 2800 research, 2600 Artifact, 2600 mining. I don't feel particularly strong in any particular area, but I've found recently I seriously out-do 99% of people in my rank-group. I PvP'd for half an hour yesterday, and got 40 red badges and 30 yellows (so close to another Protean and Dom III).

I usually NPC, and I can get to within 400xp of my next rank on 1 tank of energy. My legion posts more NPC's then I know what to do with (Ni). Please, someone tell me what to do before I lose interest and quit!

If you can afford it, syncopated, but unless your pulling 2-3bil ontop of your upkeep at this time, your just going to broke yourself...

Your AP particuarly is very low, I've always disagreed with people who keep their RP as their highest resource... AP, up, right up. No need to increase your research if you can't afford new tech, then bring your mining up after AP. Research can wait.

Your resources are fairly well balanced, low but balanced. I'd recommend colonizing in sets of 1 mining (VL Toxic), 2 artifact, and 1 research (VM Gas) for a while. If you hope to autorank (or at least have the ability to do it when you want) I'd say either the theta's (higher xp ratio on npc's) or supernovas (bigger tank of gas). But if you're just looking at having a hard ship to disable, do the hull and defense. Big thing, as Strm pointed out, is affordablility though.

I'm mostly taking VL Toxics and Mega-rich Terras, and simply upgrading mr research planets as I go. I make around 1.5 billion a day on top of upkeep, more when I'm trading (made around 6b yesterday). I' probably gonna start start Thets for the planet mods, because I already have Obviator Fields.

So, get my Artifact up. Shouldn't be too difficult. Btw, legion base gives out around 35k a day

Your tech is about equal to mine, but my productions are:
Research 3969 (This spiralled out of control a long time ago. I'm ignoring it for now... the word "research" means I won't take it.)
Mining: 2394
Artifact: 3164

I need a higher mining cap, because I only log in in the afternoons during the week, as such, I lose alot of mining and I struggle with upkeep. (Only getting 30k out of some 40-50k), you should be fine, but I won't recommend upgrading anything with that mining. If you do though, I'd recommend Supernovas. (On the otherhand, I still haven't installed Intra-Ds...)

My mining's pretty high, because I've managed to make a few 16x VL Toxics.

Nice. Your... 700 ahead of me on attack, 800 on defence, 900 on hull. Your productions are looking WAY up. You should put more into tacts though. You have alot of energy already... but that might just be me.

All rank points since rank 200 have gone into engineers. I'm gone freeze at rank 300 (or when I get Lazuli FIxer), replace my reactors with defence mods, and keep[ adding tacs.

If I'm honest, at double my rank you should be alot further ahead than that, particuarly as racial bonuses do not factor as we are the same.

Only the most basic buffs are on there. Purely for you to compare yourself against. We also fought pretty recently. You have a solid ship there. Also note that because I'm at a much smaller legion (out of choice, mind), I have far less access to NPC alerts. Most of my modules are from my stay at Cosa Nostra.

It's scary how little my resources, artifact particuarly, have improved. The best improvement is in research and I haven't taken any research planets... damn scientists.

I would suggest you to go for +12s because your production is a bit behind.

Meh, not enough reward for too high a cost. I'll try up my defence first. A good scan run should keep my pruduction up.

Blue, me and you have traded punches as well, and I can tell you know that even though you are higher, we have almost the same tech, aside from hull (little broke ass me only has 6k hull, but I'm a sab, so I don't get a fixer bonus). Me and you both need to freeze, and soak in as much resources as possible.
