Post subject:  Quantum Firewall Trap
ok, what i get the fact that QFT's are there to prevent hackers from farming, but why do so many ppl have them on their ships. I my self am guilty of having full traps on. But im wondering, what is the point, i mean the trap only kicks in after the hack, unlike the K trap, where it hits during ship. (or in some ppls bad luck, the last hit xD)
As a new found hacker, i cant seem to grasp why ppl use them. You arent preventing me from hacking, your just making me wait an hour for the NEXT guy, or null it of..

Discourages you from hacking me again is my guess.

And the real question is, if it's there, and it costs you nothing to put on your ship, why scrap it? It's worth just as much enabled as it is off your ship.

When you hit QFT you have 0 cloak for 2hours... which opens you for people who run 6 scan(for example) and so you are an easy target.

Basically you may pay some disable/raids for every hack if you dont use nulls to to remove QFTs.

Ah hah but there is a trick to everything :) it gets rid of the cloak that you have at the time of incident. That is probably a bug that should be reported to Dan but, its not MASSIVELY game changing so i doubt it would get much attention.

lol but if u have enough scan, or you trade in the cloak for scan, then you still can get counter hacked
