Finish shields ASAP, other than that you seem to be right on track. Of course you know you are 4 defenses short, but Im assuming that's on purpose due to low deck space.

1. Get the first level of Obviators done now!

2. Finish Supernovas

3. Do scanners up to Hyperfluxes

4. Do defence up to Exergonic Converters.

5. Thetacrons

Personally I would get my 12s unlocked before I got that far in scanners, but I would rather milk my current planets than get new ones. It's cheaper and easier that way.

I have Hyperfluxes done, and soon to have 12's as well. Gonna scan, and build.

There's really no "wrong" way to do it unless you end up getting terrible rifts like in that other thread.... That being said, in the long run maximizing current planets is cheaper than settling new ones. The invade/colonize cost will only go higher, and if you go with scanners first, it will take longer to get the 12s, meaning you will have built up more planets that still need to be upgraded, increasing the upgrade cost as well. Again, just my personal opinion, but I just noticed I didnt explain it in my last post lol

I'm doing +12s before Hyperfluxes too. I'm also rank 161 though. ;) I'm not looking forward to the upgrade, but...

Im rank 298.. im lazy and I wont put screen shots, but here is some stats to compare.

Hull: -
Attack: 5605
Defense: 4897
(unbuffed)

Minerals 4151 units / hour
Artifacts 7358 points / hour
6778 research / hour

You are ahead of me in Syncopated platings, we are equal in Thetacrons.. everything else im ahead with one-two or eve 3 tiers.

i'll be finishing +12 buildings within a couple of days, and i gotta say that so far the upgrade doesnt seem to be worth it. Most of my planets are maxed out for space as it is, so typically i end up deleite a 1:1 ratio arti so i can go from +10 to +12, giving each planet a net increase of at the very most 3 ( ok planet with no defenses ). my good planets typically only see an increase of 1 point. I highly doubt ill finish the upgrade, so far the costs FAR exceed the gains.

Yeah it can get to a point where it is intimidatingly expensive, but considering that economically speaking it's cheaper to maximize existing assets, it still ends up being the best option. You may only see 1-3 point gains on each planet, but across all planets, that could end up being a 200-300 boost to all areas, without having to add another planet.
