What sort of energy/xp ratio is generally needed to be able to auto level off of most missions ? Who can auto level on base donations right now ? Who can auto level on the purger mission right now ? , about what level could you start doing so ? , is it a could thing to be able to do or does it just make you weak by doing so ? |

At 14x my rank for energy, I can auto level off a mission that gives me 2.4 xp return while using a neural and a rsl implant. My goal is to eventually be able to rank off the star chart purger mission, but it's still a ways off. Auto-ranking makes you weaker initially because you go up lots of ranks, but your ship does not improve (except for the engineers from rank points). But getting more artifact planets from newly available planet slots should make up for this over time. |

auto leveling off of anything but npc's has it limits becuase as at most you will be adding 10 energy per level while adding an additional 40 exp required to rank. to do any significant auto-leveling on most mission you probably want around 15x rank in energy with neural and rsl. You'll also want to start with lower return missions, and move to higher return ones as your requirement to rank up increses. It actually Only takes about 16x rank to auto level off of the purger mission, but you will probably want more than that as you will get about 6 engineers behind for every lvl you autolevel. |

NPCs, with human and neural bonus on, provide an EXP return of 4.0/ so if you're human, 10:1 energy to rank ratio. If you're not human, then a 11.11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111:1 ratio. but, you should always allow some cushioning, so I would suggest a 13:1 ratio. |

You can always replace human with a rsl implant. also if you are auto ranking inergon may be a slightly better choice as you will get more done per rank, but if you are not actually auto ranking but are just close and are ranking quickly human would allow you to get to the next level faster as you will be getting more exp from the energy recharged but inergon can't make your energy recharge faster. Either way using either race along with a rsl should give you that cushion needed. The only problem comes if you have a low attack and are relying on drannik or konqul to kill npc's quickly and get a better ratio. If this is the case I would advise at least having at least eleven times.rank in energy to give you some cushion although as I stated earlier this ratio is unsustainable and as you level up your ratio wil slowly start to approach ten times rank. If you are having problems doing any significant auto leveling, and would like to make best use of a rsl implant I would advise waiting til you are 1 exp from rank and then deposit 2k energy into the base with a neural and rsl on. This wil give your auto ranking a jump start. Doing this you should ends up with some extra energy at the end of that level and once again dump that energy into the base. This amount will probably keep decreasing and eventually your auto ranking spree will come to am end, but doing this should allow you to get through quite a few levels at a time. Ps sorry about any mistakes. Wrote this on mobile, and its a pain in the *** to edit at best, and impossible other times without re writing everything. |
