This thread will be centered on the idea of getting the most production out of your planets, and to solve issues that would hinder your advancement.

Ex. I have three Matrioshka Brains on one of my Icy Planets, and I'd be getting 150 Research per hour out of it, and the base value from the 3 brains would be 30 Research Points.
I try to get abit more out of it, by scrapping one brain, and replacing it with a Theory Engine, 2 Spy Uplinks, Interrogation Stronghold, Refining Lab, Relay Tower, and a Warp Gate.
Now the base value then comes out to 31 research, however, I'm getting less research than before.

What gives?

either you changed races from vygoid to something else, a planetary effect wore off or you have a blockade.

None of the situations you speak of apply to the planet in question.

That doesn't make sense within the mechanics of the game(That I know of) How can one planet effect another planet in terms of resource production?

were you referring to your overall production being less?
or just from the one planet.. because your overall production goes up or down if any of those events were taking place.

The planet's Large and Extremely Rich, right? You should be getting more than 150 out of it right now, this doesn't seem to make sense.

A detail slipped my mind that came back after I read FerrusManus' post here.
I confused the planet for being Rich in research, when it's actually Very Abundant....
