i recently started playing this game and was wondering how i was doing. my friend has been helping me out but i wanted some fresh opinions. Size Class: Light Cruiser Space: 228 / 228 Attack: 432 Defense: 181 Scan: 1 Cloak: 0 Cargo: 47 / 60 Upkeep: 829.5K Inergon: Energy +10% Builder: Upkeep +-50% 267 energy 635 hull 30 shield my friend gives me lots of money to pay for things im at vygoid genome where i get 28k research each day. my friend told me to seek out an artifact base when i finished quantum disassembly qphased plating and microwarp nacelles |

Raise your attack and hull (especially hull). Having a high artifact production makes this much easier. PvP until you have all 4 Mk3 Dominions (minimum rank 100). |

I would say you should raise your hull/defense, while also passively increasing your attack. Otherwise, you will end up easy prey for other players. |

At later ranks his arti shipments can cover defense as well as the better defense mods. Weapons are the best defense when starting off. |

Weapons are the best defense when starting off. I can't begin to tell you how many times the target I killed hit harder than me every shot, but I evidently had more than 3 x their hulls. (Rank 46 -- 1527 Hull, 80 shields.)t. Yes, guns are a deterrent... but hulls even more so. My advice: Get your hulls up to 1,000.+. If possible for you, raid until you get 3 protean armories. they're 200 hulls for only 8 deckspace. I already have all 3 of mine. You want to get them before you're too high a level, because it will only get progressively harder. If you can't kill, just leave several windows open on your battle tab, and check occasionally. You'll occasionally come across players who got disabled by someone else. Pay attention to ship size. Usually a bigger ship means a better chance of successfully raiding. (It's your crew vrs their crew, so usually larger ships have less crew.) At your level, I'd recommend targetting Light Crusier or larger, Heavy Frigate if you're feeling lucky, and never Frigate or smaller. Hope this helps. |

Weapons are the best defense when starting off. i try to bring up hull but it takes too long and my ship is small. i can only fit 3 hulls. i was going to get qphased after qdevs which i will finish tomoz so i should be able to make it higher. they expensive though and my friend only gives me 200m each week so i kind of go broke. im trying to npc to do zolazin battle but i have kulgox entities on my bt and they are hard. so i looked on this new gtc and everything is so expensive and i only get 200m per week. |

Never put points into cargo though. If you happen to get a Tesserect Container, then that's good, but do not put rank points into it. |

You need to raise your production in all three areas. Especially Artifact. Work on new planetary structures, they can help increase your income from planets. |

Given that she's in an artifact-based legion, I think she can afford to focus a bit more on research first. Don't get me wrong - I normally put artifact production first; however, with her current tech, I think it's more important to focus on getting further ahead in the research tree. Jewel - if you don't mind getting disabled and instead prefer the non-battle options, then you're doing well. Your energy research is really good for our rank. However, keep in mind that a low defense and hull will make you vulnerable as you move through the ranks. There are quite a few ships on our battle tabs with around 1000 attack, and they'd disable your ship in less than 10 hits. Congrats on going sab, btw! |

um, so now i finished zolazin chain i have regeared for combat so that i can hopefully get the dominion mk3s and clean up my bt of the shroud bases so these are my new stats Size Class: Light Battleship energy 249 (21/hour) hull 1700 shield 40 Space: 358 / 358 Attack: 627 Defense: 388 (auto evasion nodule +3% def when attacked) Scan: 1 Cloak: 0 Cargo: 127 / 190 Upkeep: 6.6M Size Class Light Battleship Weapons Heavy Quantum Devastator x4 Energy Omicron Injector Sensors none Hull Overcharged Q-Phased Plating x4 Shields Harmonic Resonator Cloaking offline Defenses Microwarp Nacelle x2, Auto-Evasion Node any tips? i finished qr sensors and i am doing sub-d sensors now before i scan |

Highly recommend you get some of the Dark mods for defense (if you can see them yet). Look for the no-hullers on your BT and disable and raid them, if possible. |

I would say take off one of the defenses and replace it with weapons when PvPing, if you want you can re-install your defenses again before you log out. |
