i recently reset to fix my battle record and have at least 20k or more research a day to spend (to give you a good idea of what i have avalable) and was wondering what the most important thing to spend your reasearch on? to be a secessfull pvp player, and doing bases and npc..... |

Imo, when I started I focused on my hull and defence mod. If you're going for a small build, put Tactical Officers to increase your attack w/o installing any researched weapons. Dominion Cannons are your friend early stage. by Rank 100 you should have atleast Merged Nexus, Quantum Overlay Engine, Heavy Singularity Launcher, +6 or +8 Planetary Module, +750 Planetary Defence and Energy to atleast Singularity Control IV. |

For planets try to colonize. Resaerch: VM Rich+ planets only. Gas/Ocean/Metallic planets. Artifact: VL+ VR+, Rich doesnt hurt either. Desert/Icy/Terra. Minerals: VL+ ER+ Volcanic or VL 15x-16x Toxic's. But for starters VL ER Volcanics. |

add to that fact, that mining planets are normally rich or better in both mining and research, so you can switch between them based on what you need at the time. |
