 Base Raid Chances

Post Base Raid Chances
I'll toss this out, out of curiosity. Today I was 9th place in an attack on a level 6, and I had a 100% chance to raid. I'm not a raider, but have all three Protean Armories.

So with the armories, this tells us that 1-9th place are a guaranteed crate. Has anyone else had 100% chance with lower? Does it vary with base level, or is it simply a question of position on the list?
