Could you use a star chart purger to abandon a colonised planet? would using a star chart purger on a colonised planet remove it from your database and as a result effectively free up a colony spot? or would the colony bring it right back into your scan database. or even worse would you lose the planet AND the colony space? |

You cant, the artifact when looking at occupied planet does not show up in your list of usable artifacts. |
