The good thing about your smaller ship size is that it -should- make raiding easier. Disabling... change up your scan to get different, easier targets? Switch out your defense mods for attack when you're pvping. I do agree that disabling is getting harder, though.

X-charge cells aren't bad for shield, actually. That's all I use for mine ^^;

Quite possible. I don't use any cloak, so uninstalling your scanners should allow you to see me xD

Keep driving up that hull and attack - your defense is fine for now. Your productions look a little weak, but no major cause for concern. Looking at your stats and your race? I'd recommend changing to Kronyn Excavator.

I fixed up my planets so the planetary production is higher. Is Kronyn the one that starts with octafari mission? If so, I've done 8 out of 15 completions for that. And it's getting harder to upgrade my hull and attack since my ship size is half of those I find on BT nowadays ...

I believe Kronyn has a research-boosting ability. The good thing about your smaller ship size is that it -should- make raiding easier. Hmm. I usually use increments like 5, 25, 50, 80 (and combinations of those) to find different ships. It seems to work pretty well, since most of the ships I find are in the 120-130 range
