Post subject:  Reset Account - Rank 755 update!
So, I decided to reset my account. I became bored with the game and wanted to try something new. My last account I had for approx. 11 months. This time I am going to try a SSB. My current main goals are:

Have all 3 Protean armouries by rank 100
Have all 4 Decryption Quad-Frames by rank 100
Have all Mk 3 Domination cannons by rank 100
Have all 3 Cypher bots by rank 100

Here are my new stats (will update every so often as a progress report):

Race: Aerlen Fixer
Rank: 3
Size Class: Scout
Space: 18 / 20
Attack: 25
Defense: 7
Scan: 1
Cloak: 6

Upkeep: 150 Credits

Minerals 45 units / hour
Artifacts 216 points / hour
research 138 / hour

Ship:
Battles 15 (Beginner)

Planets Captured 0

Successful Raids 0

Any thing you can suggest that will help me with my new ship I would be grateful to know.

Good luck and have fun; though it seems counter productive to work for the 4 Decryption Quad Frames as a SSB. There's nothing wrong with trying for that goal by rank 100. I encourage goals. It keeps the game from getting too boring. But, I don't figure as an SSB you will have those equipped; so you are completing that task for something you won't keep on your ship. Still, good luck and have fun.

dont be afraid to add decks at the start ...you dont have to be ssb since rank 1 it will be easier to start off with decks and get some attack/hull what not for better start

Perhaps do more PvP so that you can pick up quite the proteans sooner rather than later as well as picking up some dominions sooner, rather than later and have enough saved for rank 100 that you can get the mark IIIs right at that time?

Try to get your proteans before rank 50, or as early as possible. Makes raids significantly easier if you intend on getting more raids later on (especially if you plan on getting tons of raids while sub rank 100) and serves as a decent hull module. Get the first dominion cannons, and the second dominion cannons can be skipped if need be.

Reason I chose Aerlen Fixer: for the defence bonus and hull bonus, as I will mainly be doing PvP at the lower levels I thought this would help the best

I deliberately became Aerlen Physicist over Fixer in my earlier days.

Reason being; low rankers do not have K-torps,
Low rankers get intimidated when they keep hitting the blue wall. I had 1.5k shields at Rank 80 (no bases that time), it worked very well for me.
Low rankers who don't have a clue about the game will naturally assume you will have several times the hull compared to the shields which they are already struggling to put down.

I can't remember it all, but my main purpose was for psychological intimidation. It worked well, but back then there weren't so many low ranked resets such as you :P.
