Some time on now, what're the damage caps for level 6+ bases? Levels 2-5 look right, but level 6 seems awful high on the wiki.

Trust us. Level 6 DamCap is 600. As for 7+ we're not sure yet. Our numbers for level 7 fall somewhere between 575 and 650 if I recall correctly.

Well, that'd explain why level 6 bases are supposedly easier than level 5s.

For the level 7 cap. If any of the legions wish to donate their level 7 base to science and remove defenses, it can be tested. Cost is 30 billion credits to rebuild the modules (counting the refunds of sold modules). And if the dysonians are willing to help, the level 8 base cap can be tested too. Although I'm sure almost no one dares to try.

In fact, I'm willing to cover the cost. I'll donate 25K kurenite and 200 repair nano's to the legion who's base is used in testing. And a package of 100 repair nanodrones for the attacking legion as well. I would like screenshots as proof of the cap though.

if you are worried about being disabled, don't be. either make the offer of removing your defenses when you are attacked by a weak legion or in the last 20 minutes. Or offer it to an allied legion if you pop up on their scans :)
