Does anyone know if the Bypass actually damages the modules? It would be nice to know what exactly it does to the other player.

bypass will uninstall attack or defense modules at random .. if that is the 10th uninstall .. yes, the modules will break.

But a little over a month ago, I got TIB spammed every day for a couple weeks and was surprised to find that I NEVER had to repair my modules. I checked the condition of a couple at random and came to the conclusion that TIBs don't damage uninstalled modules any more. Sorry kid, you'll have to content yourself with knowing your target had to click a few dozen times to bring modules back online but if that doesn't make you giggle you just wasted your blues.

DQF (80 blue) .. and cipherbot (104 blue) all scrap for an average of 5.33 blue badges per ctp bainar (300 blue) scraps for an average of 5.31 blue badges per ctp. so you are trading 0.02 blue badges per ctp for 5x less clicking in the case of CIN to bainar. even cipherbots are better than CIN at 2.5x less clicking.

When you put it like that, it really doesn't seem like it's losing a lot of CTP, anyway. Still, I will probably go with putting extra badges into Bainar and scrapping during Chuhn. Thanks for the tip.

Nope, I reinstalled every module every day and he TIB spammed all my offensive and defensive modules offline every night.

Thanks for the tip. Or if you re-read what he wrote, you spend fewer blues per CTP and have a lot less clicking...so Bainars are the most efficient thing to scrap in terms of both reducing clicking and maximizing CTP.

If you re-read his last paragraph, he did in fact make it sound like you are trading badges in exchange for fewer clicks.
Regardless, I was responding to the idea that using TIB is a significant loss of CTP, which doesn't appear to be the case to me.

well all i was trying to claim it a better choice to scrap the blues for ctp then to waste ctp that could of been gained and used in better ways
