The final relay is unaffordable at 400, as well as it being unlikely to have all the mission tier rewards.

I never considered myself a slow ranker (at least, I never slow ranked deliberately), but I recently got the 2 year medal as well, at rank 373. I think that's mostly because I'm a lazy player. Ranking every other day, really isn't slow ranking by many slow ranker's standards either. I could rank every day, myself. I'm not that far off of an autorank too.

in all honesty, these 2 years, only 8 months of that time have i actually known very much about how to play properly. The rest of the time i was basically just collecting resources (i had apauling productions then). I have not got 120 E per hour since it has not been somethign which has ever been pointed out to me that i should get asap or needed by a certain rank e.t.c. Yes thanks my arti does need to go up. What should i aim for to have by rank 450? and littlefluffy i have spent as much E as i can in this game and i never intended to 'slow rank, i have tended to rank about once a day on average for the last 6 months although i had a week where i ranked about 30 times to get krionite transducer. Thanks for the feedback all. Any other points anyone would like to make? All criticisms/ help is appreciated.

I had 120 recharge by early 300s and would have had it earlier if I had bought my FATHERs earlier. I wouldn't exactly call it "unaffordable" when it's only another 38mil each per day when he already has 5.7bil upkeep.

5.7B a day in upkeep and a couple extra bill every week or two is breaking the bank? If he's really that close to his upkeep he should spend his money a little more wisely since his mineral/hr is well above what mine was at that point and I had a higher upkeep.

i can afford them just haven't done the research into the Energy tree. I never saw a need to do anymore since i was going for 2k engineers where i could nearly auto rank

Yeah, eventually your recharge rate doesn't really matter for much. It's really just there to speed up the whole process and for those times when you don't want to auto rank or feel like doing some low ratio missions/donations/base battles.

I had HyperChannels at rank 340, and at current 379 I am 75 missions completed, with a number of low missions I could do to speed up the process, probably letting me achieve 120 at or soon after 400.

A lot like Quasi-chaotic blasters there are a large number of people who argue the upkeep for the last tier of energy mods just aren't worth it. I would get the relays just so you can do more in a day (not necessarily rank wise, but you can accomplish more in a given amount of time) and stop there.
