Post subject:  Avenge: 365 Days, 300 Ranks
Finally reached the 1 year mark and thought I'd post my stats, suggestions are welcome (though I have some loosely defined plan)

- Currently putting all rank points into TOs to about 5000 since they're pretty low, leaving engineers until later. I don't plan on ranking too fast anytime soon since I already ranked pretty quick these last 40/50 ranks so energy/engineers is/are not my main priority right now.
- Plan to finish Scanning (should have been done ages ago :roll: ), then heavy theta's, then defence, then energy.
- Will maintain PVPing but will be focusing much more on hacking, soaking up the artifact points for a while and increasing Strength:Rank ratio

Have to thank Stevo2012 and Violence86 (who sadly has quit) for when I first decided to play this game, if it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't have decided to carry on playing let alone get where I am today, as well as members from Crusaders Academy + Galactic Crusaders, the only two legions I've been loyal in :)
(and to RuinedSprinkles for always reminding me that there's always a better, crazier ship out there :shock: )

Your attack and defense are great, but you could really use more hull and shields.

Agreed, hence why I'm soaking up the artifacts for brackets and x-charge cells :) thanks for the feedback!

I dunno... Hull and Shield growth really peters out once you have all your 5 perfect syncos. His hull is pretty respectable.

Impressive, you definitely know what you're doing :), Engineers needs to increase unless you love putting 95% of your RPs on T.Os, which I also do. Your Ap/h is great, way better than when I was at that rank. Keep up the work you're doing, and you'll have no problem defending yourself on the top 10 PvP Kills board. You'll realize at some point K:D ratio is pointless, though keeping a good K:D ratio doesn't hurt either ;). One thing I might add, more Mp/h before you install those heavy research modules, GTC can only get you so far.

Thanks for the helpful advice, great to hear from one of the top killers as well as everyone else! Yeah engineers suck majorly but not too concerned right now, constantly trying to bump up the attack instead 8-) . Kills are becoming harder as I rank but i'll keep trying! And yeah that's a sad truth I realised a few months back so while the odd disable does annoy me it's pretty much inevitable either way so might as well kill 100 people every time to make up for it!!!
I only own 4 mining planets, all of which are 16x+ or better, when I rank more I'll have to start looking into more mining planets though (especially once I get to heavy thetas). Trying to maintain 800-1000bill but dangnammit buying TMs are so addictive I snagged 2k of them before I realised what I was doing :twisted:

I guess I've just been out of the loop on what hull values are good for a rank then. Maybe he needs Kalviums and Aegis Caps, at least? I don't know, they just look a bit low to me (especially considering his attack/defense).

Personally, I use prisoners in a 5:1 tac:engineer ratio. It keeps my engineers fairly high while giving me plenty of attack.

Your hull isn't bad, I had 15.7k at rank 301. AP is a lot higher than me at your rank, and you also just passed me on the killsboard, so very nicely done! Personally I hate getting disabled which is why I run an MSB, I know it's impossible to avoid but it's a pride thing :P Slow rank a bit, soak up those artifacts, and you'll be a beast.

Appreciate all the feedback, attack and hull are my two main priorities right now, but can't do much except hope I get decent shipments. Considering getting the kalvium platings but worried it'll rank me up more than I've already been ranking!

that's insane hull for 301! I'm guessing you weren't fixer? :P Maybe kalviums are the way to go...and heh I know, I might have to go on a 100+ killing spree tomorrow to secure the place ;)
