Whats a good "final" race/profession combination?

Post subject:  Whats a good "final" race/profession combination?
After all medals (assuming one cares to try for them all), missions, etc, what are the various pros and cons for a final race/profession combination. I'm coming up on that decision over the next few months. I use GP regularly so switching is not a huge problem for me.

My top 3 (not in any particular order here) are:

Aerlen Fixer = Def and Hull are always good plus it helps the legion base
Taleth Explorer = AP and scan saturation
Zolazin Spy = enough cloak to be "off the grid" on battle tabs

What are some considerations from the community here?

the most common final race/profession I have seen is the IM bored and leaving

"final" as in I have no foreseeable to ever switch (not that I won't ever - just that I've got all the medals I need, etc).

Talith explorer was my original top pick. Does Zolazin Spy provide enough cloak to be off the grid. Because there would be a benefit to that?

Konqul Excavator is also a good choice. ;)

I would say Taltherian Excavator, but I would also say to keep switching between that and Litheor Excavator, so it's not really "final". That's my plan, though; max out artifact planets, and every so often switch to put good structures on them, then switch back.

This. Staying forever as an Explorer is foolish. Excavator means 10% more purgers, which is 10% more scans, which is 10% more good planets. I rarely scan good planets that are anywhere near my maximum scan - most of the time they're like 2k cloak.

Excavator is *the* endgame profession. The only other thing worth even considering is Fixer, and that's a distant second. Everything else is crap.

Taltherian,Litheor, or Konqul are all fine choices for race, although I do what Ferrus does and bounce between Taltherian and Litheor every few months.
