My plan was to buy a bunch of kronyn data cubes for use on a 15x gas planet, abandon it, then use Chythonian exchanger to make a good arti planet. I have a 19x gas right now. But I was told that it is only useable on planets 18x or less. If only I knew that earlier. So now I'm stuck with this 19x research that I'm not sure what to do with. I could turn it into a plasma and keep it. Colossal 21x research isn't bad. Or I could sell it for about 1900 ctp or 2400 ctp (for gas and plasma, respectively).

Another idea was to talth it to 15x and use trader's boons on it. If it were 20x research, would it be guaranteed to increase artifact? It won't increase research because it's maxed. Does there have to be mining in order for it to increase?

Another idea I had was to buy tons and tons of kronyn data cubes from others and eventually get it maxed at 88x (so I'm told it is). You certainly can't deny that a colossal 90x research plasma is good. I could keep it so it would generate a significant amount of income for me. Or I could sell it. Based on gas uplifts valued at 1500 ctp each and data cubes valued at 1000 each (so I'm told), such a planet would be worth 74.5k ctp. But that would be such an incredible planet that it may sell for more. What are your thoughts on this? How much do you think a colossal 90x research COULD sell for? Want to do a mock auction?
