While I was spinning up an L6, it got disabled daily then suddenly stopped for a week. Is there some kind of mechanism that throttles base locks in the pool of randomly scanned bases ? For example not locking any yourself ? It does seem pretty odd to go from high frequency to none. Anyone else experienced a pattern like that ? It was exactly 7 times then it stopped. |

There might be a pattern, but I have seen the same base go time as much as every other day. Some of those freebies and feeders bite the dust all the time. I would be hard pressed to think that they get taken out of rotation as much as we see them. |

From what we can tell there is nothing stopping you from locking the same base a dozen times in a 2 week period. We do see some oddities though with the scan legions being used in force where the pool of bases available to lock is much smaller than it used to be since at any given point a lot of bases are locked. If a legion locks a base it seems if the locks are consistently on time every 8 hours you will see that base over and over since it is in that small pool of unlocked bases during your scan time. |

7 disables while under construction, then 9 days of peace then lock. I'm keeping track to see I'd rather just have all the disables in a row then get a high bonus for a week. Not sure if you can really manipulate it. |

GoI(level 6 base) got disabled 4 times while we were waiting for loyalty(first 7 days from creating it), and we have been locked 2-3 times since none of whom have tried to disable us (accidental locks). |

I think that the pool of bases which you can scan does not include every base that falls within your range, that at any given time and for a few days (like you also noticed) a legion will be 'up in the rotation' and if you're building a base or have a weaker base that is very likely to be locked when scanned you will get locked regularly for several days and then go days or even a couple of weeks without getting locked (which when you have a weak base means that no-one is scanning it). Definitely what you have noticed is exactly the same experience we had in the first legion I joined, and I just can't believe such a pattern would repeat for months and months purely by chance, it has to be something to do with certain bases having either an increased chance of being scanned from the pool or that the pool of bases never includes all of the bases in your scanning range. |

There might be a probability change, but some legion wars involve people hunting for and disabling specific basses several times, so they must be at least always findable. |
