Anyways, I'm planning to get some 24's for my mission Dyson, and I'm wondering how many hyperforges I should upgrade.
My current build is this:
Omnistream Gateway: Mining: 3, Research: 3, Artifact: 3 Intraphasic Hoveroid: Bonus Production: 5% Orbital Stabilizer: Artifact: 2, Bonus Mining: 14% Adumbrate Station: Research: 1, Artifact: 1, Cloak: 200 (x2) Quantum Accelerator: Artifact: 2, Cloak: 150 Hyperforge Fabricator: Artifact: 12 (x4) Hypergate: Mining: 2, Research: 2, Artifact: 2 Trellith Comm Relay: Research: 2, Artifact: 2 T.O. Manufacturing Core: Mining: 2, Artifact: 2
I'm obviously planning to get rid of the dumb stations and the accelerator and replace them with better efficiency artifact structures as soon as I can.
My question is whether I should upgrade all 4 hyperforges, or leave one as a +12 so that I 'll have more space for better artifacts in the long run.

3 is better, plenty of arts to make up for the lack of one. 2 is better if you want a more well rounded/higher PQI planet. But if you are just focusing purely art 3 is best atm.
ODragon had a sheet or something in another thread, I will try to dig it up later.

I have 2 and have no problem filling it with other high arti / space buildings. Very happy I did not do 3.

I believe, based on the current set of artifacts, without having moons of some kind, it is still best to have 2 +24s on a colossal planet.
2 +24 set you, +23 mining, +107 artifacts, +25 research. It will also have 3x +6% artifact, 2x +5% all, +2% artifact, +7% mining, +5% research, +400 storage (all), +10k artifact storage.
3 +24 net you, +16 mining, +103 artifact, +14 research. The big issue is, there will be more >1.3:1 ratio artifacts coming and by locking yourself in with 3 +24, you are going to have a hard time getting them all on the planet. In this set up (and you can change it around, maybe they'll come back), you lose both the storage and the mining/research % boosts. Again, not that important but still worth noting.
It is possible I am missing something new or have a number in the spreadsheet wrong. Also worth noting, this is end game with every possible artifact and most optimal (non-moon setup). Other assumptions are that you are using an Uldri Recovery Capsule 3 (since we don't know what 4 is).

The other headache to remember about the above is that you have to do things in the right order.
1) Colonize a metallic with 2+ people having scanned it, place Galactic Concord 2 and Uldri Anomaly Crystal, to get the upgraded versions.
2) Have the planet attacked, place Uldri Recovery Capsule and Spacial Marker (so you can upgrade these later on).
3) Dysonize the planet
4) Make two rifts - To get maximum from Crimson Rift Aperture
5) Be Hacker, Physicist or Spy to upgrade Alarri Comm Tower Ability.
Also didn't realize I was missing a bunch of the legion mission planet arties so 6) Biologist to upgrade the two Vorean structures.

Hiya mate, any chance you could explain what all those % based artis are?? always hoping to optimise my biggest producers and anything like % gain is a big plus. Whats on mine, Cognizant Omniforge 5%, Intaphasic Hoveroid 5%, Trade Outpost Intelligence 4% and Litheor Transmutative locator 6% Thanks

You may not wish to be rid of the accelorator, when fully upgraded its a 2 artifact per space item.

For the mission dyson, I wouldn't use more than 1 upgraded hypeforge... you'd need to have 3 on each one of the rifts, which would only leave you with 2 spare energizers for the mission dyson (unless you can buy extra energizers from someone else, to use before actually using the dyson transformer).
