Hey all, this is my first time posting anything along these lines, so go easy on me.

What I'm looking for is suggestions to optimize my ship's performance at 100 level increments (Level 400, 500, etc.) I'm a very goal-oriented person, so if I have something to focus on and shoot for, I'll most likely accommodate my play style to achieve it.

I try to maintain a well rounded ship, and my main focus is on PvP and NPC Hunting.

V3N0M
Level 349
Zolazin Saboteur
Unbuffed Player Stats:
Size Class: Massive Star Destroyer
Space: 2723 / 2728
Attack: 5782
Defense: 10359 (Includes +5% from 2 Velox Thrusters; +4% from Merged Datanode)
Scan: 711
Cloak: 1379 (Includes +40% Zolazin bonus)
Cargo: 8624 / 11710
Upkeep: 6.4B

Stat/Rank Ratio: 46.25

Crew:
557 Engineers
974 Tactical Officers
251 Helmsmen
1443 Scientists

1906 Energy (With 4 HyperChannel Relays installed, 2386 without)
10963 Hull
1223 Shield

Player Stats:
Battles: 105910 (Grand Legend)
Kills: 2067
Deaths: 250
Non-Player Kills: 10377
Planets Found: 524
Planets Occupied: 86
Planets Captured: 38
Missions Completed: 489
Scans Performed: 1720
Successful Hacks: 682
Successful Raids: 734

Production:
Minerals: 6131 per hour / 48000 Storage
Artifacts: 4939 per hour / 91000 Storage
Research: 5830 per hour / 57370 Storage

I'm 9 Android Helmsmen away from my final Velox Thruster, and I'll soon be able to fabricate all three Aegis Capacitors (even though I won't install them right away).

I also just used one of my Sphere of the New Eras to change from a Sillixx Fixer (worst decision ever made, but I was a year younger then) to the Zolazin in order to knock that race off the list and get the Sabotage-related medal. Because of this change, I have some cloak and shielding mods uninstalled, but realistically those were just to fill up the extra decks.
Currently, I have 8 Heavy Thetacron Cannons, 3 Supernova Generator - Mark IV's, 5 Perfect Syncopated Platings, 4 Exergonic Inverter - Mark III's, and 4 Trans-Entropy Drive - Mark III's installed, making up most of the upkeep and taking up most of my decks.

Concluding notes:
I have been a big-ship builder my entire playing career, and I'm looking at topping out (temporarily, maybe until level 600 or so) at 3000 Decks. This will allow me to reinstall my currently uninstalled modules (about 160 decks worth), and give me some room to work with as I begin to collect the whole new tier of NPC modules.
I was slow-ranking a lot up until Level 200 or so, and then I discovered the effectiveness of Energy Management, so I've been ranking a lot faster (every other day) than I normally would appreciate.
I'm one of those guys that doesn't want to pay money for an online game, and I don't have time to sit through survey after survey, so, unfortunately, Galaxy Points items and actions are generally off the table.
Basically, what I'm looking for is what I should be aiming to have (in terms of crew and production mostly) by level 400 and maybe 500, and I'll post milestones as I go along. Thanks for any suggestions!

Stop using rank points to add decks. Add more tactical officers.
