Re planet defence, most of the ones you mentioned previously, I wouldnt bother defending, expect maybe the 3x arti, and even that with maybe just nominal obv shield or 2. I think more production is more valuable and to be honest I havent lost very many at all.

Impressive values, but could you please let me know, what drives your AP? Any mission planet/dyson? Also, what race/profession you were at rank 300 - any hull/attack/defense bonus or the above numbers are w/o such buffs?

Yep, had both Mission Exotic and Dyson and can't remember what race/profession now, but fair chance it was Konqul Fixer.
The Rank Points difference may be explained by you being in an 80k/day legion for a decent portion of your 500-odd days and me (at that time) having been in a 25K/day legion for all my 236 days :)
EDIT: lol, late night posts and sleepy brains - I had completely forgotten that for the first 1000 decks I happily used Rank Points.

AP growth was, and still is, driven by scanning, NPCing and trading.

At that stage I was still completing my 3rd Velox I believe.

Yeah, I had both mission exotic and dyson, spent the money on them. Although my stats weren't as good as diego's, like him i have increased a lot in the last 2-300 days and 360 odd ranks, my arti is about 26K and TO's are 9K, eng's 5K. Still not as good as Diego, but is arti prod beats me hands down from memory. :D

Looking good Flux. :D
A couple of suggestions, not sure if you've done it but the Trellith Chain is very good for increasing arti production.

Also, if I were you, I'd put some rank points into engineers for a while, at least until your max energy is 10x rank, or even better you can autorank. Now I know you won't autorank, but it will help you with those NPC style LM's, so you won't need to use your cubes and sacs.

well, Phil... questions is, when to use the cubes to fit my plans.

I plan to finish the PvP medals, then all what will left is missions and NPCs (unless Dan implement finally something new for PvP activity).
I prefer to have more TOs than Eng... because many players have godlike energy bars yet they can not invade strongly defended planets .. so basically they are forced to build them from NPC loot which moves them w or w/o autoranking fast up in ranks etc.
I will be rather limited with energy but capable to take majority of good planets I will find and use some cubes if needed.

Btw, is there any damage cap for base battles?

Yes, 3 is 120, 4 is 200, 5 is 260, 6+ is 600

Plus theres more than just pvp medals. Like trying to get onto the boards ;)

Yea, I'm not really sure about all those cubes and tri-matrix. I have a ton of them too, I plan to use some to help upgrade the base to level 8, but beyond that.... I don't even need them for a scan blitz anymore.

I just reached a max energy of 10K at rank 746, so I have plenty of energy, but then I like to rank, my slow ranking has been once per day for the most of this year.

I guess my comment was made because the higher your energy bar then the more you get from your cubes and tri's, but your method seems to work OK, you still have plenty left!!

why have you got 9 terraformers and enum crystals and a QSE sitting in cargo? you can easily max at least one planet to 20x with that, especially considering your low artifact production

When I open caches, I will literally collect more arti points in 1 day than you have in your entire time of playing.

Why is your arti so bad?
