Post subject:  Modules that have an activated ability with limited charges

I am interested in getting more information on these types of modules in the one place. I haven't had any luck looking through the forums (never do?!?!) but some success in the wiki.

The kind of info that I would like is whether the charges can be refilled, with what and how much? For instance, the wiki says

"Activated Ability (with 2 charges refillable via Galaxy Points): Vorean Biocharge, increases invasion attack by 8% for 1 hour.

Activated Ability (with 5 charges refillable via Galaxy Points): Sets a Gammacon Trap for 1 week. If tripped, the attacking ship will be dealt damage equal to 50% of its maximum hull + shield. "

This is good but can someone tell me how much GP?

The other ones I have recently got but not used yet are Dominion Tri-Blasters, Litheor Data Interface and Te'vul's Core. It seems the data interface can't be refilled but the Te'vul's Core can be, but how much. Tri-blasters, no idea?? Are all refills done with GP? Or something else??

So, you could post the relavent info for ANY limited charge module here, or a link to a forum post, I'd much appreciate it. :D

Sure.

Almost all refills work off a base charge of 3GP per charge needed.

Examples:

T.O. Cyclobeam Charger - 5 Charges = 15 GP

Vorean Bio-Ray - 2 Charges = 6 GP.

Gammacron Trap - 5 Charges = 15 GP.

Litheor Data Interface - 2 Charges = 6 GP.

The only module i can think of, which doesn't follow this rule is the Te'vul's Core, which is a 4 GP refill.

Thanks Kirk, the Litheor data interface can be refilled!! Anyone know about the Tri-blasters??
