meh depends on you really, im slowly phasing out researched modules for trinkets, as their value becomes.... depricated, to put it lightly... so less upkeep n such, but again thats really a you decision

if your planning on keeping that amount of decks then i'd probably say not, but for what their worth, i'd install them then keep them uninstalled so you keep the doubled bonuses if you ever change race/proffesion

It's not worth it for small ships or mid ship builds.

look at it this way

Perfect Syncopated Plating (size 43, Hull +1105) or 25.7 hull pr deck
4 * BioMimetic Sealer II (size 40, Hull +440, defence 120) = 11 hull pr deck

so unless you are already running 5 Perfect Syncopated Plating on ship, you will get a lot more hull installing an extra Perfect Syncopated Plating instead of putting your BioMimetic Sealers on ship

Install them so you get the Type II designation, then take them off in favor of more efficient modules.

I wouldn't scrap them, though. You might find you like them. I got rid of my researched hull and put the Type IIs back on mostly because I like how they look.

Yeah I'm rocking 5x Perf synco's at the moment and Pong aesthetics matter too :)

ACQUIRE ALL OF THE THINGS!

Besides you can't get Sehrin without picking them up anyways at least in your cargo, and if you are a fixer then you might as well install them while you can get the better bonus out of them even if they'll just sit uninstalled collecting dust, because maybe ... someday... you'll actually want to use them. Like I am right now.
