DISCLAIMER: Before S.Hawking gets all bent out of shape again this year, I was specifically asked by MrSpock to post an updated version of this topic, the conversion rates for Ku per CTP and EM per CTP utilized are the current free market values as determined by the players, the EM per MU is based off of player observation, and the CR per MU figure is based off of an average of three-and-a-half solid years of my daily rewards recorded.
MrSpock wrote: Universal Service TerminalSystematic Harvest Improves the mineral trade efficiency of your planetary network. Increases your overall mining production by 10% for 8 hours. Cost: 40 CTP
40 CTP*120 Ku/CTP = 4,800 Ku 4800 Ku*1502201 CR/Ku * 0.9 Tariff = 6,489,508,320 CR 6489508320 CR / 46750 CR/MU = 138,813 MU 138813 MU / 8 hr / 0.1 Buff = 173,516 MU/hr to break even purely on CR
40 CTP*100 EM/CTP = 4,000 EM 4000 EM / 0.02 EM/MU = 200,000 MU 200000 MU / 8 hr / 0.1 Buff = 250,000 MU/hr to break even purely on EM
Which brings the combined break even point to....
173,516 MU/hr / ((250,000 MU/hr + 173,516 MU/hr) / 250,000 MU/hr) = 102,426 MU/hr

Also do we agree it's 1 EM/ 50 MU?

hmmm. if i did it right im coming up with 97,967 per hour to break. never quite looked at it like that but thats saying 44% of your minings value comes from em.

102426 MU/hr * 8 hr * 0.1 Buff = 81,941 MU 81941 * 46750 CR/MU = 3,830,741,750 CR 3830741750 CR / 0.9 Tariff / 1502201 CR/Ku = 2,833 Ku 2833 Ku / 120 Ku/CTP = 23.61 CTP
102426 MU/hr * 8 hr * 0.1 Buff = 81,959 MU 81941 MU * 0.02 EM/MU = 1,639 EM 1639 EM / 100 EM/CTP = 16.39 CTP
23.61+16.39 = 40 CTP

23.61+16.39 = 40 CTPyep that'd be right. used 1.44 instead of 1.69 mixing up value compared to the whole instead of value of the combined vs without em

It would take even greater mineral production to actually achieve any noticeable benefit from the buff.

A bit late now for this, how does the bonus 4 hours from your daily reward play in if you get minerals?
