100+ NPC alerts pr day 3 to 6 base attacks pr day and a 80% success rate on legion missions + active players that help each other but theire are only a few legions can supliey all that |

obviously everyone would like tons of all things possible. that said, to me, good chat and fun people go a long way. If the only thing there was lots of alerts and a super strong legion backing you, EOTS would have its doors blown off on requests. Not sure they don't now, but always looks like there are a couple of open slots. I've seen more people leave legions over butthurtness or anger with others, that ultimately this is the syrup that glues the cakes together , imho. For any decent ranked ship, probably a minimum level 6-7 base, and at least 40-50 people is key---for cloak, ct lab, and base bonuses. |

Personally, i would say activity in the comm and a relaxed way of playing is the most appealing...and massive npc shares too, but mainly the first two XD |

Way back in the day I would look for legions that had a nice amount of euro, Canadian, Asias, Australian, etc. players because I really enjoy talking to people from around the world and getting their opinions on whatever. Example Today we talked about Autumn vs Fall and how we choose which to use when talking. |

I think what makes a legion initially attractive to join is along the lines of what Dark and Koolaid said... ie... stepping into a strong gaming environment that can benefit your ship and game play. I think what keeps you in a legion long-term, however, is more along the interpersonal lines of what Tree said... you tend to want to stick with people that you like on a personal level, who interest you, and with whom you feel comfortable and generally get along with. |
