zolazin is the best chain out of your list since it doubles your NPC slots.

so in short
grab all the ship badge requirements
then go all out for zolazin

do any of the other chains hold any goodies i may need to get me going in decent planet builds

they all have something that makes them worth doing or doing a bit of

Zolazin Chain = 3 The Glaviz Device (free race/profession change) and 2 Stryll Tracker Cores (+1 NPC slot each)

Kronyn Chain = 6 Kronyn Datacubes (+1 recearch on a planet, no limit) and 15 Ergosphere Filters (20%cloak bonus on a planet)

Mylarai Chain = 2 Kalvium Fortified Platings (ship system, Size: 20, Hull: +150, Hull Integrity: +5%)

Xecti Chain = 20 Adaptive Spires (size 1, artifact 2 if you put them on the right planet types)

Genetarr Chain = medal points,
15 points for The Resemblance is Uncanny, (for doing the chain)
and if you change race....
20 points for Revenge of the captured (While a member of the Genetarr race, disable 500 'Stryll Assassin' ships from the Stryll Order)
15 points for Mind Over Matter (Use the Genetarr's Mind Influence ability on 100 enemy targets that were alerted by someone else in your legion.)
= 50 easy points to help you buy stuf from the battle marked.

and it also one of 3 races you can use to get the Cybernetic Link Interface (size 30, Attack +120, Defense +120, Cloak +120, Scan +120, Energy +120) with ability (Adds 1 Cybernetic Helm Connection (+2 defense) cooldown 20 hours) from the Carthyne Symposium LM, task 2 (Vygoid, Zolazin, or Genetarr only)

personaly, I would do the Zolazin Chain first to get the free race changes and extra NPC slots
and what you do after that, depends on what your legion base gives, what planets you have found / been given by your legion and how you want to play the game
if you already got a few colosal x17+ recearch planets from your legon, theire isnt mutch point in doing the Kronyn Chain other then to get the Ergosphere Filters etc etc etc

10 days (assuming I manage 2 completions every day) until I can start doing that. Just over 400 blues to collect to be able to finish it too...
