Here's a Question for ya... Which planet is better? Small and Very Rich or Massive and Abundant??? It may surprise some to learn that the small and Very Rich planet will yield more resources. Not to mention, it will Cost significantly less to build on and upgrade! I've used Excel to create a chart that shows the base production for every planet type and saved it as a web page so I can share it. Unfortunately I can't just post it here. If you would like a copy of the chart I can email it to you. Send an email titled Planet Chart to mightypawnmi@yahoo.com and I will send it to you. I have added my chart in simplified form to the Galaxy Legion Wiki http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php?title=Planets#Base_Planetary_Production |

By the way... My chart currently considers structures with +1, +2, and +3 Resource gathering capabilities. If you know the size of +4 facilities or higher I will update my chart accordingly. Note: Each Level of structure capability is actually a separate chart... but they are all on a single document. |

My chart is now updated to include level 4 facilities. Again. If you know the size of higher level facilities I will continue to update the chart. |

There was a chart done a little while ago, I think it might have a lot of the same info: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=236 |

after 6 they seem to skip. they go straight to +8 at 16 size. (there is no odds after 6 I believe) +1 is size 4 (500 cr) +2 is size 7 (5000 cr + 100 Dynite = 1600/building) +3 is size 9 (50,000 +10 Darrinyte = 56,630/building) +4 is size 11 (500,000 + 10 Erixion = 568,620/building) +5 is size 13 (2,000,000 +10 Dieterion = 3,313,790/building) +6 is size 15 (10,000,000 + 5 Kurenite = 17,511,005/building) +8 is size 16 (50,000,000 + 20 Kurinite = 80,044,020/building) total cost are average because the cost of minerals change over time based on how much people are selling or buying (kurenite used to be 1 mil per bar - now they cost 1.5 mil per bar) I advise if you are upgrading your planetary buildings to skip the +2's and +4's. Its not that big of an upgrade honestly for the cost. I even skipped the +6's on most of my planets and went to 8 |

Headless wrote: There was a chart done a little while ago, I think it might have a lot of the same info: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=236 I didn't see that... it is a bit jumbled though, and doesn't take into account that a planet may have room for 6 level 3 facilities and still have enough space for a lower level facility which is often the case... my chart takes that into account and calculates max production. The only reason I don't post it in the forum is because... like the other one... it becomes jumbled and impossible to read. Many thanks to those who gave information.... I will be updating the chart again soon. If you already have my chart... please let me know what you think and if there needs to be improvements. (I plan on adding a column to show the cost of upgrading facilities level to level, and I did not know about the Dyson class Planets... they will be added soon as well) |

Redlaw wrote: There si some math I do well enough with out charts ![]() The chart was created to quickly see which planet is the better choice. Not so easy actually. first you have to determine how many structures you can build (there are many cases where maximizing production means using two or more types of facilities) Then multiply their efficiency and add together.... for each planet... I find the chart much easier and time efficient. I love Excel! |
