I was wondering if the planets you get from the mission chain in the expanse can be scanned normal and whether or not you need to cloak them up.
I'm assuming they can be hacked but not scanned is this correct?

Also does anyone know if cloak helps vs being hacked? Do planets with less cloak have a higher chance to be hacked then those with high cloak?

Yes they can be scanned I had one of mine stolen and I stole another one from someone else. So they can be cloak is good. lol

Cloak doesn't help in planet hacks. It's just luck.

I was thinking, it really doesn't make sense since you can't find these without the data. (Same goes for the Ecumenopolis type). It would be interesting if Dan gave a planet type that couldn't be scanned or hacked.

Yes they can be scanned. I scanned one and felt the need to liberate it (no, not from Mojo, I'm not THAT crazy) and completed the mission so now I am the proud Overlord to 4 Aphotic-type planets.

Same as was said above. They can be scanned and they can be crit hacked. The planet was sold, invaded, and flux.

agreed i have inlisted the call of the people, they were seeking new managment so i took them under my wing hehe. so curently i own 4 of them as well one from scaning the location.

When i was in paladins we liberated a apophic from mojo

Mine was under the despotic rule of JohnFalls (PA). Surprisingly, I never got attacked or anything in retaliation. I'm guessing I picked a good time and caught him offline for a couple days.

Sometimes i think its unfair for some of those limited planets you can only get so much of. Like im a low level and i have a dyson and exotic and if someone hacks it i dont have any fluxes because i dont have the Aeon Moon chain yet. Although the passives help alot.
