Hey guys,
I have seen some ships in the first 100 group with them, though personally I would feel that is a waste to use it that early. Are they worth buying for one? And if so when would you get the best use out of them? Currently I am level 106.

considering you pay for them and all...are they unequippable?...can you sell them for credits or break them once unequipped?

i would say in your 300's if npc hunting...at all times if you pvp a lot and dont bother if you like the missions.

I waited to buy my first one at rank 1001. It was a Mark IX. So, that's the cap atm.

48 GP's for 2 weapons I dont think it makes much sense to get them below rank 300. They dont seem to me to be particularly great weapons until they have a better deck/att ratio than anything you can research.

Yes I know they are an extra weapon but really? Having 2 of them would only be about 6% of my current attack.

Thanks Frail, I was planning on doing it after rank 1000 myself, and that was what I saw on PSICore after he hit 1000 so I guess that's the end of it. That's still something like 20-25% higher than you get with everything else equipped. I don't want to get it more than once lol

I bought 'em at rank 20 or so. I didn't know better. I still use 'em... it looks like at level 300-400 they make a larger jump than from 100-200 or 200-300. If I was going to buy them now, I'd do it then, and then hold onto 'em at that level until I could get Mark IX.

Is it true that we can get IX version at rank 800 to be exact?
