im rank 141 and so far i think battling is but just curious as to what you guys do to level up?

To me the best way to level up is a bit if everything. Why? Missions give items, unlock races you can change to, PvP has rep and a boost to research/ NPcs are stuck in the middle as they do both if you watch what you are doing.

NPC's + Neural , Max Firepower and Hull + some Defence. Use available artifact and farm NPCs

i hate seeing profiles like:

Those are pretty bad stats, he has pvped, not killed npcs, found very little planets, terraible for a rank 82.

Personally i only do good missions, people are impressed by the number of missions you do. And missions give crap energy:xp ratios, i usually kill things.

I think I know that guy, he wouldn't tell me how he does it.

npcs are the best way after rank 100. before that is missions. and pvp when you severely dominate the guy. the only time i actually go out of my way to kill someone is if i have 2 weapon tiers on the guy. so now i go after people over rank 200 that still have antiproton cannons.

DUH!, i did this when i needed a level blitz but i accidently went 10 ranks to high. I bought 550 GP and used most of it like 3/4 of it for energy and put it into the base giving you xp plus the neural and RSL i used ( was SOOO lucky to find that)

Considering how few NPSs or players he's killed, it seems he probably just chooses better quality missions to do. A lot of the lower level ones don't give good rewards or anything; I myself have quite a number of low-level missions left.

Your stats are better, scan more planets all i can say, or kill more players.

Let's not veer off topic too much, there are missions that are worth alot of xp, like zolazin battle, chron mission, mysterious world... those missions are good, other missions like pawlacite thaw, the crimson project, i do them purely for the artifact.

Don't do missions to level up quickly, it doesn't work well.

If your low ranked, just farm players, best way to level up. NPCs are too tough.

At higher ranks (140+) best that you start going into NPC killing.

with 550 GP, i can jump 70 levels. for one thing i know, DONT CONTRIBUTE TO BASE TO LEVEL UP.

And another thing, not very many of us buy galaxy points, i've only used 40 galaxy points, including the ones you start with to abandon crappy planets.

I don’t even get the point of ranking quickly till after 200 or so..... I have friends who started after me are twice my rank but i still dominate on ship components. I have ship modules researched far beyond what i can install, i like this strategy. I am prepared when i enter the next level blitz. Though without GPoints i can only get about 5 ranks on Nuro and horded cubes and tri-matrix

I dont like PVP, but over the last few weeks i have been hunting NPC's and im certainly no where near lvl 140 but it has worked put fine.

i certainly dont think u need to be a certain rank, as most are scaled. high energy, lots of hull attack and defence will help but if you are low ranked get rid of the sheilds. if that confused you see http://galaxylegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7368

All Legit, i take planet invasions very seriously, i dont invade unless i got 90% chance success, i have failed many invasions too.

ahhahahah reminds me of a time me and my friends tried to bring down a lvl 800's planet. We all had enhancements and ''stuff'' horded, before we attacked. Each time did 1 damage and took like 200, had like 15000 defences or somethin. i used mutagenic cartridges. Attacked. 0.1% chance of success.
