At 170 energy total (projected 10 levelups) (2600 energy from LU) that leaves 8900 energy to 'regen' manually. At 123 sec per energy that is 1094700 seconds of energy ... or 12.7 days of energy (with a total of 13.5 days given) (wow this is gonna be close ha).
What is a Zolazin Analyzer?

Do you really want a spoiler? Look below.
Planet Structure: Size 1, Artifact 1 Constructs a Zolazin Analyzer on your planet (limit 2 per planet) Scrap value 45000 - 180000
Spoiler end.

If that is what it does, it is good for plugging into empty spots 1 space is prety good for what it does.

I'd venture to say though that the little '50' should be changed to '25' for number of missions per completion or '50' x 5 versus 10 because the reward isn't as good as the scanners were even with all 10 of these little 1 artifact buildings.
This would also allow the level 20-35 range to participate fully. At 46, with full effort invested, I can get it done but I also have father devices and +9 recharge items.

for the energy expenditure, it seems underpowered..... a space elevator does that and offers 50 population....
perhaps if the limitation of 2 per planet was removed it would be worth it.
or if it gave some other bonus, +40 cloaking maybe. or Defense, there isnt a size 1 defense complex yet.
or make it a warp chassis.
but 50 completeions for that.... seems like a waste when people could be going for easier tier upgrades from mission completions. or at least a mission that offers credits or some other type of item.

It would "seems" underpowered but since it stacks with ANY other structures then that bonus is well worth to have.. Once Dan introduces reclaim artifact then 10 analyzers will be awesome to have and easily move around planets whatever you feel like.. Also, going after enemy planets with analyzers on would become more attractive targets. I like current energy cost as is...

it stacks with other structures to a max of 2.
the other structures that stack to 2 (space elevator, Phase cutter, Spy uplink) dont take 1250 energy to get one. and give you a reasonably huge bonus stat.
thats why i suggested it was underpowered. in comparison to equally restrained planet structures.
of course your opinion is still valid, if dan were to hypothetically introduce a way to reclaim structures from planets then it would be better. along with the other comparitively restrained structures that i refferenced.

Odds are they will be placed on planets that either have all the chassis or at least will at some point, or at least all the artifact chassis. I can't really decide if I want all 10 of them with how long the mission will take. I guess if I'm getting at least 6 then I may as well finish the whole thing for the tier reward, but I'm not even sure if I can.

Redlaw wrote: I am going to try and get as many as I can get. I certainly have enough artifact planets to do the same. I'm too lazy to figure out how ranking up affects my calculations. I'm 33/50 on the 1st iteration after noticing it with a fresh level and no energy less than an hour after it was created. I think I'll make it, but I'm going to do another energy research push. It was part of my plan anyways. Focusing on the mission makes what I was researching less important anyways... From the lack of violence. Is there always 3 levels between tier rewards because I have 18/22 right now. I'm not sure if these special missions work like I think in that regard. Should I be doing 1 chain at a time more than going for the best immediate return? I haven't gotten more than 1 or 2 missions into any chain because they suck by the time you rank up 5 times. There's some noob questions for ya.

I agree that the ZA is weak. Warp Gate, Space Elevator, Relay Tower, and Processing Core all common artifacts and give twice the benefit. This is the first special mission that I won't be completing more than once.

I think it mainly benefits those who has not enough artifact points and is still on the +1/+2 structures. Those with enough artifact points, will see it as a minor add-on and some may see it as a space elevator without the population, thus seem weaker, however so, stacking them actually does give a little boost to the final production.

1235 energy per day = 8 or 9 days (that is the best rate I can obtain) so it probably is 'doable' in the end but will be close.

Yeah, for better or for worse I haven't done the weekly missions because of the energy cost. Finally working on getting a Psionic Amplifier, though!

Well if it was for 3 weeks it wouldn't be an issue, but 2 weeks cuts it close for lower levels.

This newbie, seeing the Zolazin Jammer inference, unfortunately leaped prior to analyzing. Lesson learned ! Placed it on the back burner to complete more energy efficient priorities. Not certain at this point if I shall even complete the first level that is sitting at 11/50.

Finished the first level of it... If I stop now can I do the chain with it later on or is it lost?

This chain of missions will likely be saved and posted back up.

Redlaw wrote: This chain of missions will likely be saved and posted back up. That is if you miss it. But if you done 1 iteration, will the mission come back as done 1 iteration or it resets.. or are you just gonna miss it altogether? If it does come back (1 iterations for all), it would be odd... you complete 1 mission, follow-up mission is already completed once. Will look fishy to people if they forgotten it was a event mission.

I think it saves it as you where done with it. So you go one time threw it will be taken off when it gets readded. This would also mean if you finished you will not get to do it again.
