I am rank 63 - will be 64 by tomorrow at the latest. Minerals: 161/hour Artifacts: 548/hour Research: 514/hour I am a Konqul Spy, and I'm a general build (more focussed on hacking), but I can diversify when needed. My upkeep is 308.4k/day. The reason that I'm asking is because next rank, I get another planet, and I'll be having a little scan spree.

i forgot what i had when i was rank 63. But you seem fine, maybe a little bit more mining. But money isn't really an issue at low ranks when you have high ranks giving a bit of kurenite.

in my opinion, low ranks can never have too much research. another mining planet would be good, but it can probably wait another four ranks.

lol your artifact production is higher than me at rank 105, but you really need mining, the earlier you start stockpiling money, the better you're going to do at higher ranks with outrageous upkeep.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll get research next, then a mining planet. The reason I've got my artifacts so high so early is so I can pull "free" boosts (e.g androids, Xcharge cells, etc). I've also got a lot of "special" modules to keep costs down (exo-temporals, dark ring thrusters, stryll transponders, etc.) I have 100 mil in the bank, and only a 300k upkeep, so I haven't put that much effort into mining yet.

dude you really need mining, my upkeep is about 1.9mil (I sell modules now instead of keeping them) and my mining is 760, and I have 3.1bil and I can pay upkeep multiple times over in one hours' worth of shipments. how long does it take your mining to make enough money for upkeep?

Interestingly enough, I've been wondering about this myself for a few days now, and almost created my own topic, but you're a very good example for me, having a similar Rank and the same Occupation. Currently I have a daily upkeep of 276.1K credits, and production rates of 477 MP/Hour, 358 AP/Hour, and 590 RP/Hour. For comparison purposes, without the Race Bonus, that translates to 28 MP/Hour/Planet, 21 AP/Hour/Planet, and 29 RP/Hour/Planet, which is +18 MP/Hour/Planet ahead of you, but -13 AP/Hour/Planet and -3 RP/Hour/Planet behind you. In other words, we're basically even. Anyway, when I level up tomorrow I'm probably going to take yet another research planet and then the next few after that will be for artifacts.

Tomorrow I'll have my 4 levely planet scan spree, when I sell all non-mission modules, install reactors until I level up, then as each reactor empties I replace it with a scanner, while using all the boosts going.

(+127) Artifact: 405 (+47) Research: 800 (+210) The mining difference will be 1/2 planets? The artifact difference is one planet. The research difference is 2-4 planets.

I think it's simply a matter of being lucky enough to join a legion of four, who were willing to help their fifth wheel out by giving her several great planets for artifacts and research, and furthermore helping her invade and defend three of her six critical hacks. Anyway, with the Vygoid bonus, that research difference is more like two planets. The one I'm going to colonize tomorrow will produce at least 102 RP/hr once it reaches full development with the current Theory Engine planetary structure technology I have. P.S. To the Rank 240 owner of one of those other three critical hacks, someday I'll own your planet and it's 100+ AP/hr too.

I currently own 16 planets, so: 10.06 mining/hour/planet 34.25 artifact/planet/hour 32.13 research/planet/hour 28.88 raw research (without scientists, which I pull a LOT from my artifacts)/planet/hour. I have 2 mining planets, 7.5 artifacts and 6.5 research planets (one planet has ex. rich research AND artifacts so I split them evenly). My next planet will be research, then mining, then I'll have to see what happens.

1k/hr is pointless at low ranks. I lose alot of my research because it maxes so fast. And some of my mining . At least I got a large Icy from a mate which I will melt. And am buying one. (Had no luck with Icys. Small, Very Small, Small, Small, Tiny, Tiny, Small, Very Small, Large (So much defense! )) My deserts are just as bad... honestly, I've scanned better barrens than Icys or Deserts. (V. Large/Rich ftw!)

My most recent colonies have all peaked, so my production rates are now 509 MP/Hour, 394 AP/Hour, and 631 RP/Hour, with one of my eighteen planet slots still vacant.

Why not get 1000 research an hour now? If you want to, try and switch to Vygoid Excavator. +20% Research, +10% Artifacts. Very useful..
