energy for sure. it may look bad now, but itll pay off later. and also, put all 5 rank points into decks (maybe occasionally putting 1 into cargo) if you're not already |

energy planetary structures and weapons, and get your engineers up to 125 and then put points into decks. |

I was gonna say ENERGY but...... research- research, you gonna want to do some planetary structure research so you can build better research structures on research rich planets ........ then you'll have more RP to research ENERGY |

As a priority: Energy - More energy = more missions = more exp = more ranks = more planets = more production. Weapons - at least to lvl2 as a PvP deterrent. Planets - lvl 2 gives you modules which give +2 resources for a little less space, giving you more research per hour (plus others), letting you research more stuff. I'd say in that order too - I'm rank 65 now, and I "tier researched" (i.e. all the 600pts ones together, then the next lot) until about rank 20. Then I had to go far more into weapons and energy than the others. Scans are the least of your worries - I'd go no higher than tier 3 until around rank 20. |

Wow, 32 research per hour and almost empty research tree. I've forgotten what it was like to be that low level. |
