I do not believe they have found the formula for scanning.
As for rescued prisoners, I reckon (can't guarantee) that someone is pulling your leg.

I'm putting up two information requests if you all would be so kind #1 Is it true that rescued prisoners no longer become available from artifact shipments from level 600 on? #2 Does anyone have or can point to a/the formula for successful scanning for planets? |

at level 601 you no longer see Graxis, the Stryll Prison on your alerts.... so at that level, the "Rescued Stryll Prisoners" (gives 6 rank points) are no longer available to you But you still should be able to receive the regular "Rescued Prisoners" (gives 3 rank points) from your artifacts as for a scanning formula... if your button is not grayed out, you should be able to clicky clicky clicky until you finally get another planet... the button grays out based on the number of planets you have and your current scanning power....... here's some preliminary work I've done... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8594&p=71564#p71564 |

So we may assume that it is possible to get Stryll rescued prisoners after 600? |

A level 686 offering a Graxis, Stryll Prison... then he most definitely "sees" it... So we may assume that it is possible to get Stryll rescued prisoners after 600? |

yah... forgot about that... it's 701 that Graxis shares are no longer visible... i had corrected that recently in the wiki, but i've been so scatterbrained lately i forgot (oh shoot... that graxis sure died quick, konja... it was only alerted 4 hrs ago...) |
