Hi can anyone please tell me how to hack and raid???? I have no idea please help

First you go to the Battle tab and Target another player. Then you click on the Action tab of their ship and you will find the options to Hack or Raid. You can only Hack someone if your Cloak is greater than theirs, meanwhile you can only Raid someone if you have first Disabled their ship by attacking them. |

Hacking : Success is based off of Cloak and Scan (ie) yours vs theirs. Raiding : Make sure the target is disabled. It helps to have a large crew to increase your raiding chances and lower the chance of one of your crew dying. "Jonesey !!!!!" Again, scanning helps with raids as well. |

I'm lead to believe that initially, the hack is your cloak VS their scan. If you win the "roll", you have hacked them. The amount of RP gained though I find is your scan VS their cloak. This makes logical sense because you sneak past their defences to get in, then you search for information, which the computer tries to hide. |

I have crit raided by art stacking all scanning arts along with scanners, so, yea, it helps. I have them on stand by (ie) take weapons off line to add more scan / cloak, and swap them in and out as needed. It's better to do that then leave them on, granted, they take damage, but you repair them instead of selling them. |
