Why not? Look at how powerful peoples ships are getting now. And that 6 they attacked is a weak 6. EOTS are not the only legion in powerful battle groups. We personally drop bases like this in a few minutes daily too. I can guarantee you EOTS and their BG were not even hitting that base as fast or hard as they can.

Oh I do, but look at the base pictured. It's hardly a maxed out 6. Ive come across some 6's that require 10M+ damage to kill, these can have 70-90k attack and def.. Others like the one pictured can get $%&% over by a single player in 10 minutes. Because the legion is so used to being disabled they don't bother defending. Have you ever tried killing a level 7 or 8? They take a hell of a lot of work, as anyone with a 7-8 will race change if someone locks. I personally think the bases are balanced enough as it is. People just need to learn how to build their bases, and have a composition of races/profs.

Well TIS did hold off a lock a few weeks ago, so I guess you're right with the balance. Although, that's only because someone was online the moment it was locked.

The tactic of "lock, drop, rock and roll" is a good one, but not when it's your base that has it being used on.

I guess I was a bit angry when I made this thread. :P

I can understand that. The whole reason for the quick drop is so the least energy used possible to gain a station from a raid. Being in SA and now TDS i don't even remember what having a base disabled feels like.

if you have 20 ppl hitting at same time lets say 2 clicks per sec on average thats 40 different hits per second that the game has to register and calculate. I think it simply cant keep up.

if someone locks glass base and kills it slowly with 1 click per sec and the end result is the same (dmg done to hull + shield not adding up) than i would assume something is broken (intentionally or not :p )...if not than the game simply cant keep up
