Research Points: 188,423,185, Artifact Points: 269117, Mineral Units: 385326

Just did a probe on a player DAN and this is a serious question. How is it possible to have that much RP.

I have never seen it

then re probed a moment later and got this amount

Research Points: 441,258,737, Artifact Points: 917, Mineral Units: 0

How is that possible please let me know that's just a little crazy if you ask me. my max rp is only 250k even if I tripled my level I would not be close to a max amount of 440mil.

The players ship I do not want to call out in the open form but please look into it.

And anyone that can enlighten me on how this is possible please do. I guess he could be taking 100% of a base payout but if that's not what it is then it needs to be looked into!

Its called Data Terminals, the ones you use on a base to convert total dmg to 5% research.

They go above the cap, and said player had hundreds to use.

that would work too I guess. just interesting but even if someone did 10 mil dmg to a base. that's only 500k rp per mod.

Math seems a bit off... 10,000,000* .05 = 500,000 not 20,000.

No, and yes he did answer it. I was just asking how it was done. I was unaware that you could go over your RP using them devices. I did not mention his name because I did not want to throw names around. I was just trying to fig out what was up, because it was very odd is all.
