A few common npc's with something interesting wouldn't hurt either: Why are there no npc that reward exotic matter, for example?
because that would devalue mining planets. the whole point of Dan introducing so many EM requirements was to balance out the planet distribution away from the too.heavy concentration on arti planets.
Why no bosses that drop dark badges?
because stryll assassins are common.
there are plenty of avenues available for more NPCs. i would love to see 1 uncommon and 1 elite NPC that are only available for a particular race or profession, maybe rank restricted to over rank 2000 to disadvantage the ultra.slow rankers. the less popular the race / profession, the more valuable the drops. again, this would skew the distribution away from the heavy concentration of taltherian excavators.
