Is anyone else having their planet effects like this ?

NSX Crate: Amethyst : Research +1%
(1 week, 2 days left)
Litheor Crystal Focus : Production +10%
(8 hours, 58 mins left)
Dark Null Beacon Effect : Defense +10%
(12 months left)
Barrier HyperNexus Effect : Defense +30%
(12 months left)
Meta-Tuned Jammer Effect : Cloak +25%
(12 months left)
Barrier HyperNexus Effect : Defense +30%
(12 months left)
Tejiar Ally HQ Effect : Cloak +5%
(12 months left)
Galactic Concord Station II Effect : Defense +20%
(12 months left)
Toxic Processing Plant Effect : Attack +30%
(12 months left)
NSX Crate: Diamond Effect : Defense +10%
(12 months left)
Archotage Transmitter Effect : Population +40%
(12 months left)
Ergosphere Filter Effect : Cloak +20%
(12 months left)
Polaron Emitter Effect : Cloak +15%
(12 months left)
Perpetual HyperTurbine V Effect : Artifact +5%
(12 months left)

The first 2 are normally expressed that way but I never saw a Dark Null beacon as a temporay effect.

Effects will sometimes steal the duration of other effects, but it's just a superficial issue - they're still permanent.

This bug has been around for a long long time and I'm quite surprised you weren't aware of it. :)

It is also showing up on your ship's Effects.

I posted at the same time and now read the "Guide" post above.

The question is what Effect did it steal fmorom to say "12 months left" on both our ship's Effects and our planets Effects tabs?

Indeed, I just noticed that.

It could be that these effects aren't actually permanent, but have a fixed expiry time. If anything more than 1 year wasn't displayed, then it would make sense for them to start showing as the new year ticked by.

Actually normal artifacts and traps on my ship work just fine but even my ally and ship modules permanent bonuses now have a duration.

Auto-Evasion Node Effect : Defense_adaptation +3%
(12 months left)
Sirakar Plating Effect : Npcdefense +3%
(2 Active)
(12 months left)
Trinity-Core Drive Effect : Defense_adaptation +8%
(2 Active)
(12 months left)
Protean Arsenal Effect : Raid +9%
(3 Active)
(12 months left)
Cuniculus V, Lepus Adjutant Effect : Defense +13%
(12 months left)

Etc etc.

will be when the game ends dan announced it not long ago he also announced he will give special awards to people who spend the most amount of money as possible to that date no idea what award it will be maybe a house or a car or maybe a thank you letter who knows :P

T5 Field Analysis : Production +1%
Aerlen Patronage (Max) : Production +6%
(12 months left)
Crimson Intelligence : Attack +25%
Diversionary Tactics : Defense +35%
(12 months left)
Chuhn Trading Forum : Production +5%
Small Moon : Space +10%
Essense of the Arbilon : Production +7%
NSX Crate: Amethyst : Research +1%
(1 month, 2 weeks left)

Attack is permanent but not defense ? LOL :mrgreen:

Personally, im pretty certain it means nothing except somethings broke.

the effects aren't permanent sounds like the answer. We already know that blockades show up as -60% with no timer, but leave them long enough and they end up going into countdown. 1/1/20 seems an arbitrary long time in the future date that could have been set when the effects on countdown were introduced.

This is making it very difficult to see if someone has buffs or not on your Battle Tab.

I hope this is fixed soon as right now it is looking like a Galaxy Legion "countdown" to the game being closed.

Me too, especially since in my last couple complaints about things not being fixed, I said something to the effect of, "If you're burned out on GL, please give us the courtesy of a definite end date, rather than just letting the game fall apart"
