Happens in Safari too.

Just seems though it's when a counter hits zero. Like watching for the repair counter in the Ship screen or watching for a hack/raid counter to zero out on an enemy window. The energy and shield counters do NOT cause this as far as I can tell.

i didn't happen to me not until i ran a virus scan

i ran a virus scan it deleted a cookie
i refreshed my GL page now it when all white with writing all over the place

This happens on IE to. After an hour maybe 2 I have to reboot just from GL

For those experiencing this, did you recently install a new flash update?

my browser says that it automatically installs a new version of flash so i don't know but when i turn my laptop off it says installing updates do not turn the power off

Yes, I did install the Flash 10.2 update recently Dan. I always install updates as soon as I know about them, and I usually check for updates once a week.

Chrome automatically updates Flash as part of normal Chrome updates, but I still update Flash manually in IE as well. A Chrome update was released 16 days ago (Which I installed) taking it up to version 9.0.597.98, and another update is apparently planned in a few weeks.

can say with no fear of contraception, there was no flash updates before i had the white screen of death.

Yeah. it always happens when the screen refreshes itself.

Yes I did recently install the new flash update.
I didn't think GL used flash.

I don't think I've seen the White Screen come up today. Did you put in a fix for it when you added the new trap-clearing artifacts?

my phone loads GL from its favourites but i get a white screen if i try and navigate away from the news page.
if i fresh load GL from my facebook page on the phone, all works fine.
might give some clues anyway

Its still happens now, i've had it a couple of times on my laptop.

All i can think of, its the sever, because its happening on firefox, chrome, and the most common one, internet explorer.
I dunno, i hope dan can fix this problem A.S.A.P.

Both Chrome and FF, but also FB loads flash files on the same page, and the flash plugin for all browsers basically leaks over time. The issue I see though is only loading the page that is inside the popup frame, and without the formatting (CSS maybe). This is the same result as loading the same URL for a popup window directly, but it happens more often on a forced page refresh.
