I should add to this by saying, the Bane Dread, from which this drops, is Rank 2k+ Only.

so the bane dread does drop a ship mod cool lol all i got so far is the traps so lol but good to know the 400k+ hull with over 200k defense is still worth smashing lol

So far I've gotten 1 gun out of 19 kills from them...

Well gee thanks for the kick in the nuts for those of us around rank 1500, Dan.
This years event is a waste of time for us under 2k, since we already have the terror charged emitters from last year.

I'll just hunt the big boss illuciar, since the phantoms are a bust for us.

Hey don't forget , there are those sexy bane skins, the Super-duper EXTREME (like nachos) hall of torment, and the ever loved bane traps. I found a guy the other day with 7 active traps....

Bane--because 7 is a lucky #. (at least i know i don't wanna use two null fuses and waste e just to trip the halc)

I am a little sad the horror charged requires level 2k. That seems antithetical to what Dan usually does. The norm has been to hose down the tier 1 high ranks and let us mid levels (1530 as we speak) see the lion's share. For us, there truly is not a weapons upgrade this season. But hey, not sure the 'upgrade' is all that critical anymore at this rank...really more a prestige thing.

maybe next year we can get a ungrade drop. lower upkeep increas atk. better systems easser to maintain. dont see why upkeep always has to sky rocket. like some kinda rock'et man
