We are currently in a base battle and I have been hit by Remote Intrusion twice. Neither time did it tell me I was hit with it. Additionally, I am not in the top 3 of damage so it shouldn't be affecting me.

Anyone else seeing it?

by not alerting the player that a trap has been tripped it ups the usefulness of the trap since you can simple you a containment cage to get rid of it, I don't know about the not being in the top 3 part though...maybe it's the top three who don't already have this effect present on their ship?

Thanks for the report. It may be sending the notification to the wrong damagers (but still applying the effect to the top 3).

I was not top 3, I did not receive a notification but it was applied to me. I was like number 12 and 10 at the times it got applied to me; I only noticed it because of the huge difference I saw when attacking.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me as well a few days ago, I believe I was 8th and it affected me.

sounds like the effect is affecting the next 3 while the msg is going to the top 3

I got the alert while I was in the top 3, but had no effect.

This is still broken by the way. It still does not affect the top damager but the top damager does get an alert about it.

Hard to nail down who actually got the effects, but the top damagers got alerts and effects. Also me... and i'm quite low in the list.

I was number 15 on the battle list when I left work. I came home to find remote intrusion had effected me.

And again, I'm #31 and came back to the game with this debuff on.

It went off a 3rd time, I was not attacking.

ah, but if i used the ability again and you were still part of the top 3, it would affect you

strange that you keep getting the debuff...

is the debuff actually showing on your ship effects tab?
or are you just noticing the message in your comm or alert popups?


hypothesis: the first 3 people that ever attacked the base are affected

I was not one of the first 3 people to attack. I was #10 by the time I got my first hit.

The debuff is showing up on the attack page as well as the ship effects page. My attack is 90% of its normal value and when I look, it says Remote Intrusion and apparently they stack. After getting it, I do 1 damage on the base per attack vs my normal 20-30.

There is no notice on any of the newsfeed pages about being hit by it.

well there goes that hypothesis... in any case, it's obviously still broken
you mean your attack is 10% of its normal value? or that your attack is down 90% from its normal value? remote intrusion is supposed to "lower attack... by 90%"... so it's a -90% effect... so it's a 0.1x multiplier
and if the effect stacked, your attack would actually be 1% of its normal value (5000 atk becomes 50 atk) after two of them are on you... and 0.1% of its normal value (5000 becomes 5) after three are on you

Yeah, I just said it wrong. It read -90% from the effect.

I was 2nd on the damage list got hit by the remote intrusion a couple times and it reduced my attack by 90%, but 1 time i got the pop up for remote intrusion, but my attack stayed the same
