I get the feel that it was just a displaying error bug that it was supposed to show 90% instead of 100%. That could explain why Remric failed at roll of 10% or less to succeed. Because it's not possible to fail at 100% success rate..

Unless it's rounded, but most likely a display error

i'm thinking it's a bug of some sort stemming from the increased chance of invading a 6-month inactive's planet, since it happened shortly after that update

Dan hasn't replied at all in this thread though...

Max Invasion chance should always be 90%. Please take a screenshot if you see anything higher than that and let us know which planet you had this issue with. :)

i re invaded the following day. and i was able to get the planet. it was really not that heavily defended. Oh and I wish I had a screen shoot too.. everything went fast
