Hi I sold some relays i originally had them installed once i sold all 4 relays my current energy dropped from 55 to 35 i thought it dosent affect your current energy levels but your max levels i am a sillix explorer. |

I can say I've lost energy myself... I uninstall/sell my relays when I'm close to level so I can get as much energy as I can, and sell a relay or two when I go to bed for more storage. But if I have any energy when doing this I notice I lose between 1-20 energy... it's weird. |

My issue has to do with installing a conduit/relay to my ship and losing more energy than what each conduit/relay specifies. See my explanation of my problem below. This relay issue is annoying, I have had this problem for the last +3 months. I never really did anything with energy until now. (I do not think it has anything to do with selling or uninstalling relays.) So I have 3 Wave Conduit installed on my ship. The benefit for the Wave Conduit is that it decreases energy charge time by 9 seconds at the cost of 30 energy units. It says that it takes up specifically 30 energy units (for a Wave Conduit), but it ends up taking a lot more. It gets really annoying to compensate by adding another reactor core to get more missions completed. I have 160 energy units as my base energy level. This means that the three (Wave Conduit) relays should only take 30 energy units per conduit (3*30=90). I should end up with 70 energy units left (160-90=70). However, I have 61 energy units instead, which is counter productive. The energy difference is 9 energy units that I have lost. This issue has happened to me on the other relays as well, it is not limited to just one conduit/relay. I started doing relays 3 months back. I would like to have the energy that I have lost back because of this issue. (I do not think it has anything to do with selling or uninstalling relays.) PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

Also, if you have experienced crew death, it could be engineers that died. |

No engineer died it was instantly right when i sold relays i lost energy. I think its a bug sometimes it happens sometimes it dosent. |

rchyou, you might be right, and I agree that its a bug. However, I have the same problem even if I do (or do not) sell or uninstall my conduits/relays, it really does not matter. I am an Inergon (from the start) and I have never lost an engineer (I have been keeping track of my stats from the start as well). In summary, I am not going to repeat myself from earlier, my conduits/relays are still taking more energy then what it says it should be taking. (see my above post) It seems to me that when I install a conduit/relay, regardless of how new or old it is it still takes about 3 more units worth of energy than it should on any of the types of conduits/relays. |

seems like maybe you have 4 relays? you can only have 3 reactors but 4 relays...your sure you dont have a 4th one installed? |

I do not have a fourth reactor installed. You can not do that with the basic researched reactors. I am going to assume no body knows why this is happening. |

Hes saying if you have a fourth RELAY installed, ALSO, if you are inergon, it increases how much energy you LOSE including how much you gain. THeres your answer, it was answered before, you just skipped him. If you are inergon and you lose 20 energy because of a rally, you lose an extra(I think) 20%. It is intended, get over it. |
