Even if im active in the game it now dies with timers on 0 and chat stops updating so i have to reload the game to re-start them.

This is a major issue, because if energy and shield timers stop working, the stats bar won't refresh regularly and we won't see our popup alerts

I'm seeing popups now that are over 5 minutes old before they come up, when the whole time I was there in-game chatting

Happens to me a lot too. Luckily GL loads quickly.

Ok, we believe we may have found the problem. I've pushed out a fix that should be noticeable after a refresh. Let me know if you still see the issue afterwards.

Has not been solved for me.. just now the timers and GL died. i tried to open a planet alert and all i got was an empty window.

this happens to my brother more than me (he uses a mobile dongel in the middle of the country side) SOME of times its due to a few small reasons like lack of memory for your browser or slower net connection or a very busy gl server or even dropped packages from gl server

it can be very dependant on the system you run and your isp

the reason i know it CAN definately be caused by connection is jumping dns's often workes for me if i have sever lag or empty window loads

same problem can sometimes be fixed by expanding flash memory in browser but normally thats only if you have been watching a lot of vids at same time as playing gl

same problem can be a busy gl server i have noticed every other page's can be lighning fast but gl very slow i had this problem on other games when servers filled up fast

same problems can be dropped gl packages or bandwith being used by other p[rograms i have seen my research timer sit at zero for several minutes when i have been doing a full update on all security softwares which can for a minute or a few eat the entire bandwith depending on update size
